Presently plywood industry is moving with a stable rate of knot. Demand-supply equation, raw material prices also looks firm.

The rise in number of plywood factory capacities and arrival of new wood based particle are motivating big plantation farmers to grow more. The suppliers of popular logs too are estimated to be sufficient till October or 2016 that makes an overall stable outlook on the front of timber need in the country. As per market players Indian wood panel industry will have less worry on raw material supply during 2016.

This year all the plywood are hopeful, the requirement for decorative item is getting stronger due to narrowing margins on commodity and conventional wood panels. Laminate player have to work hard to expand and grow.

From the last year learning all the market players are aware what they have to do to grow in this time. The industry also knows the need for quality manpower in areas of sale and production. They have to focus on market with new product and modernize plant to cut cost with improved quality.
