LyondellBasell is considering setting up a propylene oxide (PO)/ tert-butyl alcohol (TBA) plant on the US Gulf Coast.
The said plant will have an annual production capacity of 900 million pounds of PO and 2 billion pounds of TBA and its derivatives. It is expected to start operations in 2019 and create nearly 1,200 construction jobs.
