• If we take a quick look at the above given weekly prices, it can be observed that the market of Formaldehyde had followed up trend in the domestic market and at the end of this week price were assessed at the level of Rs. 16/Kg at Ahmedabad Port.

The above given chart shows the comparison between domestic price trend of Formaldehyde and Methanol from 11th June to 15th June 2018.

Previous week prices of Formaldehyde had followed weak inclination and at the end of the week prices were assessed at Rs.15.75/Kg at Ahmedabad port. Prices of Methanol which is a feedstock of Formaldehyde had followed week trend and at the end of the week prices of methanol were evaluated at Rs 30/kg for Kandla and Rs 30/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

This week the domestic market of Formaldehyde had followed up trend and at the end of the weak prices were assessed at Rs.16/Kg at Ahmedabad port, The prices of methanol also had followed up proclivity after little fluctuation, on 11th June, 2018 Methanol prices were assessed at Rs 30/kg for Kandla and Rs 30/kg for Mumbai ports and at the end of the week on 15th June, 2018 prices of methanol were evaluated at Rs 31.75/kg for Kandla and Rs 31.75/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

CFR India prices of Methanol were assessed in the range of USD 380/MTS. This week prices have increased by USD 8MT in compares to last assessed price.
