SP Chemicals has shut down its SM plant following an abrupt outage. There lies technical fault in its operations. The shutdown of unit is temporary and issue will be sorted out within a week. Unit is based at Taixing in Jiangsu province of China and has the production capacity of Styrene Monomer of 3, 20,000 mt/year.
