Indorama Ventures has expanded their capacity of MEG. It has expanded so as to overcome the shortage of chemical. This expanded capacity will be fully realised in the fourth quarter.
It was not clear whether the added capacity was at the Clear Lake or Port Neches plant, both in Texas. Indorama completed its acquisition of the Port Neches site from Huntsman in January.
