LG Chem has shut down its naphtha cracker abruptly. The unit was shut down on 31st July 2020 due to some technical fault. The unit is based at Daesan in South Korea and has the production capacity of Ethylene around 1.27 mln mt/year and Propylene capacity of 7,00,000 mln mt/year.
