Lotte Chemical has restarted its MEG unit after brief maintenance. Earlier the unit was shut down in the month of May. Due to change in the catalyast. The unit was likely to start its production by August but then it got delayed further and restarted its production in September end.
Unit is based at Yeosu in South Korea and has the production capacity of 1,60,000 mt/year.
