LG Chem has shut down its cracker in the first week if November owing fire reported at its catalytic reforming unit. The duration for the shutdown has not been specified yet. Unit is likey to resume in the month of Jaunary 2021.
Unit is based at Yeosu in South Korea andhas the production capacity of 1.6 mln mt/year of Ethylene.
