US based Ascend Petrochemicals earlier declared force majeure on its
ACN unit. The unit was shut down in August end due to Harvey hurricane in US. Earlier the unit was restarted in September but faced problem in its operations. Unit is based Chocolate Bayou in Texas and has the manufacturing capacity of 5, 90,000 mt/year.
