The word Plastic has become very common among the humans and is used all kinds of packaging and consumer products. Most of the plastic products are covered with hazardous chemicals which can percolate to the environment and also affect the health of the humans. Apart from plastic products, dangerous chemicals are also used in cosmetic products which can in turn damage our skin and cause harmful diseases. On the back side of the cosmetic and personal care product, quite a number of chemicals are found and are litter with the chemical ingredients.

Moreover, in plastic products most of the plastic manufactures widely use the compound called estrogen, which as per the researched report this chemical can cause serious reproductive disorders and percolate toxic chemicals has been shown in few plastics, once it is heated, worn or put under pressure. According to the researched analyst, plastics such as polycarbonate, polystyrene and polyvinyl chloride which oozes chemical like Bisphenol A, Styrene, Vinyl Chloride and at times it also contains harmful chemicals like Phthalates.

As per the researches done by the analyst, Bisphenol A (BPA) is a carbon-based synthetic compound and is one of the most pervasive chemicals in the world. It is also noted as the building block of polycarbonate plastic, which is used in manufacturing food packaging and also number of consumer products. When exposed to the human body this chemical might disturb the normal breast development, in ways which in later stage may influence women for later life breast cancer.

Styrene and Vinyl chloride  which is another hazardous chemical used to manufacture plastic can leach from Polystyrene and is formed in the fabricate of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), is often found in a dense plastic cutlery, carryout containers, disposable cups and bowls, egg cartons and Styrofoam food trays. These chemicals are likely to cause human carcinogen (It is any substance, radionuclide or radiation that is an agent which directly involves in causing cancer.), which has been classified by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC).

Another perilous chemical Phthalates are a group of endocrine disrupting chemicals which is mainly found in PVC and the exposure of this chemical is allied to early youth adolescence girls, which at a later stage may cause breast cancer. Moreover, in cell culture systems few phthalates also act as weak estrogens.

Thus, it is vital to substitute the majority perilous substances in plastic products with a lesser amount of dangerous alternatives, as the amount of chemicals that are exposed to the humans and environment has increased with rise in the production of plastic.
