Asian Paints is one of the largest Indian paint company and Asia’s third largest paint company, with a turnover around Rs. 141.83 billion. Asian Paints operates in 19 countries and has 26 paint manufacturing facilities in the world servicing consumers in over 65 countries.  Asian Paints has pushing new concept in india like Color World, Home Solution, Colour Next, and Kids World.

Recently, Asian Paints is planning to invest around 2,300crore to set up a manufacturing plant which is located at Mysuru, Karnataka. The proposal for setting up the manufacturing facility in Karnataka is towards fulfilling the long term capacity of the company and is subjected to the future demand condition, said by the company. The plant will produce ultimate capacity of 6 lakh KL/ year at approximate cost of Rs. 2,300crore at the current prices.

Before this Year, the company had declared that it was discovering possibility of setting up a paint manufacturing plant in south states and Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

As per market report the paint sector is anticipated to be around Rs 500 billon till end of 2018. Since Paint sector grows tremendously in upcoming year.
