Laminate industry has been performing well in last few years in India. In India this industry is not led by end customer or the manufacturer. There is lack of awareness among the local people about the laminates. End user consults the carpenter before taking any decision related to use of laminates. The communication gap between end user and manufacturer has now diminished to great extent. Again there has been reward rise in furniture requirements which has led to improvement in the laminate industry.

With new government formation, clearances to new projects were confirmed. The new government has been paying attention towards laminated industry.  Projects like Formaldehyde Resin manufacturing plant of Wonder Industries; synthetic Organic plant of Jubilant Life Sciences in Gujarat and many more industries in Gandhi Nagar has been launched and will start their production soon.

With enough supply of Methanol, Melamine and phenolic resins , the raw material requirement has been abundant. The current period has been quite profitable for laminate industry.
