The Indian cosmetic industry has seen hasty tramps over the past few years. According to report recently cosmetic market is rising with awfully express swiftness.


Ecotrail has launched Iba Halal Care, Indian first halal cosmetics brand in Ahmedabad. Halal cosmetics sector is currently worth USD26 billion and is expected to grow to USD39 billion by 2018.


Currently in terms of growth the lip cosmetics segment is the strongest performing segment and it has posted a gain of nearly 9% with sales poised to reach nearly USD 1.4 billion this fiscal.


The entry of more number of cosmetic brands in the Indian market has also been aggravated by emerging demand of branded products among people due to hostile advertising strategies of players coupled with enormous western persuade. New product launches catering to consumers growing requirements are also fuelling growth in the industry, carving bright prospects for the industry in the future.


Report said that to benefit from the overall market, many cosmetic giants, such as L’Oréal, have set up research facilities, investing millions in India to squeeze the change.


The disposable income of the urban Indian youth is making them opt for better choices, most certainly in terms of grooming which is escalating the beauty in India. Moreover beauty industry is predictable to attain approximately USD 3 billion by this financial year.
