PetroleoBrasileiro SA Has received an offer for its 34 per cent stake in Cia. Mega SA from YPF and Dow Chemical. YPF owns 38 per cent in Mega, while Dow holds 28 per cent of the stakes in Mega.
Petrobas is stalling its exit from Argentina’s petrochemical industry as it centres its attention on a graft case. An investigation into Brazilian contractors who have bribed Petrobas officials is restricting its access to debt markets, which has slowed down signing of new contracts.
