LyondellBasell declared force majeure on its Lake Charles based Polypropylene plant due to mechanical failure at this plant. The company declared that it faced a breakage of an extruder. The Lake Charles polypropylene facility houses two PP lines with a combined capacity of 667,000 my/year.
