IOC has turned down an offer from HPCL to set up a 15 million tonne per year refinery-petrochemical project in Andhra Pradesh.
IOC is currently more interested im strengthening its position in western Indian provinces.
The refinery cum petrochemical project was to be set up in the Andhra Pradesh PCPIR for an investment of 8 billion dollars.
