The Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd (HPL) plant is set to restart operations with the trial run to commence in the near future. The stabilisation of the power plant would take a few days after which the mother plant, which has been closed since July 2014, would commence operations.
The West Bengal Government provided Rs 100 crore as margin money and TCG, the promoter, is yet to furnish the amount.
