Assam Petrochemicals Ltd has started the construction of new methanol plant. APLis one of the leading petrochemical company in north east of country. The company has initiated the construction for 500 TPD of Methanol and 200 TPD Formalin project. Earlier, with a complete ‘vedic ritual’, a bhumi pujan ceremony was also organised and performed by Ratul Bordoloi, Managing Director APL in the presence of notable dignitaries including APL’s chairman, Jagadish Bhuyan, local MLA Noren Sonowal, APL’s Vice Chairman Bipul Deka and the company’s senior management team, to mark the formal starting of the construction works on May 7.
