The above given chart shows the comparison between domestic price trend of Formaldehyde and Methanol from 26th March to 30th March, 2018.

Previous week prices of Formaldehyde had followed volatile inclination and at the end of the week prices were assessed at Rs.15.5/Kg at Ahmedabad port. Prices of Methanol which is a feedstock of Formaldehyde also had followed volatile trend at Kandla and Mumbai ports and at the end of previous week prices of methanol were assessed at Rs. 30/Kg for Kandla and Mumbai port.

This week the domestic market of Formaldehyde had followed little volatility and at the end of the week prices were assessed at Rs.16/Kg at Ahmedabad port, The prices of methanol also had followed volatile proclivity, on 26th Mar, 2018 Methanol prices were assessed at Rs 31.5/kg for Kandla and Mumbai ports and at the end of the week on 30th Mar, 2018 prices of methanol were evaluated at Rs 31.5/kg for Kandla and Rs 30.5/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

CFR India prices of Methanol were assessed in the range of USD 384/MTS. This week prices have decreased by USD 6MT in compares to last assessed price.
