• If we take a quick look at the above given weekly prices, it can be observed that the market of Formaldehyde had followed volatile trend in the domestic market and at the end of this week price were assessed at the level of Rs. 18/Kg at Ahmedabad Port.

The above given chart shows the comparison between domestic price trend of Formaldehyde and Methanol from23rd July to 27th July, 2018.

Previous week prices of Formaldehyde had followed weak inclination and at the end of the week prices were assessed at Rs.18/Kg at Ahmedabad port. Prices of Methanol which is a feedstock of Formaldehyde also had followed volatile trend and at the end of the week prices of methanol were evaluated at Rs 33.75/kg for Kandla and Rs 33.75/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

This week the domestic market of Formaldehyde had followed volatile trend and at the end of the weak prices were assessed at Rs.18/Kg at Ahmedabad port, The prices of methanol also had followed firm trend, on 23rd July, 2018 Methanol prices were assessed at Rs 33/kg for Kandla and Rs 33/kg for Mumbai ports and at the end of the week on 27th  July, 2018 prices of methanol were evaluated at Rs 33/kg for Kandla and Rs 33/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

CFR India prices of Methanol were assessed in the range of USD 375s/MTS. This week prices have remained firm in compares to last assessed price.
