Weekly Price Trend: 10-04-2017 to 14-04-2017

• The above given graph focuses on Formaldehyde price trend for the current week.
• If we take a quick look at the above given weekly prices, it can be observed that the market of Formaldehyde had followed up trend in the domestic market and at the end of this week price were assessed at the level of Rs. 13.25/Kg at Ahmedabad Port.

Comparison between domestic price of Formaldehyde and Methanol
From 10th Apr to 14th  Apr, 2017

The above given chart shows the comparison between domestic price trend of Formaldehyde and Methanol from 10th Apr to 14th Apr, 2017. Previous week prices of Formaldehyde had followed up inclination and at the end of the week prices were assessed at Rs. 13.25/Kg at Ahmedabad port. Prices of Methanol which is a feedstock of Formaldehyde had followed up trend at Kandla and Mumbai ports and at the end of previous week prices of methanol were assessed at Rs. 24.5/Kg for Kandla and Rs 24/kg for Mumbai port.

This week the domestic market of Formaldehyde had followed up tendency and at the end of the firm prices were assessed at Rs.13.25/Kg at Ahmedabad port, The prices of methanol had followed up proclivity, on 10th Apr, 2017 Methanol prices were assessed at Rs 24/kg for Kandla and Rs 23.75/kg for Mumbai port and at the end of the week on 14th Apr, 2017 prices of methanol were evaluated at Rs 23.25/kg for Kandla and Rs 23/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

Previous week, CFR India methanol prices have decreased,while domestic prices have increased. This week methanol prices decreased. Presently methanol market is moving with weak velocity. China methanol market is moving with downward velocity no major deals and discussion has been heard.
CFR India prices of Methanol were assessed in the range of USD 298/MTS. This week prices have decreased by USD 9/mt compares to last assessed price.
