• If we take a quick look at the above given weekly prices, it can be observed that the market of Formaldehyde had followed weak trend in the domestic market and at the end of this week price were assessed at the level of Rs. 15.75/Kg at Ahmedabad Port.

The above given chart shows the comparison between domestic price trend of Formaldehyde and Methanol from 04th June to 8th June 2018.

Previous week prices of Formaldehyde had followed firm inclination and at the end of the week prices were assessed at Rs.16/Kg at Ahmedabad port. Prices of Methanol which is a feedstock of Formaldehyde had followed firm trend and at the end of the week on prices of methanol were evaluated at Rs 30.75/kg for Kandla and Rs 30.75/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

This week the domestic market of Formaldehyde had followed weak trend and at the end of the weak prices were assessed at Rs.15.75/Kg at Ahmedabad port, The prices of methanol also had followed weak proclivity, on 04th June, 2018 Methanol prices were assessed at Rs 30.75/kg for Kandla and Rs 30.75/kg for Mumbai ports and at the end of the week on 08th June, 2018 prices of methanol were evaluated at Rs 30/kg for Kandla and Rs 30/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

CFR India prices of Methanol were assessed in the range of USD 372/MTS. This week prices have decreased by USD 10MT in compares to last assessed price.
