Weekly Price Trend: 27-11-2017 to 01-12-2017

• The above given graph focuses on Formaldehyde price trend for the current week.
• If we take a quick look at the above given weekly prices, it can be observed that the market of Formaldehyde had followed little volatility in the domestic market and at the end of this week price were assessed at the level of Rs. 14.5/Kg at Ahmedabad Port.

The above given chart shows the comparison between domestic price trend of Formaldehyde and Methanol from 27th Nov to 24th Nov, 2017. Previous week prices of Formaldehyde had followed firm inclination and at the end of the week prices were assessed at Rs. 14.25/Kg at Ahmedabad port. Prices of Methanol which is a feedstock of Formaldehyde had followed volatile trend at Kandla and Mumbai ports and at the end of previous week prices of methanol were assessed at Rs. 27.25/Kg for Kandla and Mumbai port.

This week the domestic market of Formaldehyde had followed volatile tendency and at the end of the week prices were assessed at Rs.14.5/Kg at Ahmedabad port, The prices of methanol also had followed volatile proclivity, on 27th Nov, 2017 Methanol prices were assessed at Rs 28.25/kg for Kandla and Mumbai ports and at the end of the week on 01st Dec, 2017 prices of methanol were evaluated at Rs 28.25/kg for Kandla and for Mumbai ports of India.

Previous week, CFR India methanol prices have increased; domestic prices also have increased. This week methanol prices have remained volatile and formaldehyde prices also have remained little volatile. CFR India prices of Methanol were assessed in the range of USD 381/MTS. This week prices have increased by USD 27/mt in compares to last assessed price.
