There has been constant surging in the Melamine values in Asian market. China is one of the major supplier of Melamine. Since last one year Chinese government has become very strict regarding environmental issues. The government has asked many chemical manufacturers to either cut down rate or shut down their units. Strict environmental laws have been formulated and have been asked to abide accordingly. With slowdown in supply of Melamine from China the European manufacturers has been getting more orders. They also supply it to US or other European nation as it is more profitable rather supplying it to Asian countries like India and Asia. At present Qatar is the major supplier of Melamine to India.
