China based Shanghai Sinopec Mitsui Chemicals will shut down its Phenol unit in August end for annual maintenance. The unit is likely to remain off-stream for 2-3 weeks. The restart date for the production has not been specified yet.
Unit is based in East China and has the manufacturing capacity of 250,000 tonnes/year.
