CNOOC Shell is planning to commission its Phenol Acetone unit after Lunar vacation. With start of this unit, supply of Acetone and Phenol is likely to gain momentum in Chinesde domestic market. The unit has the Acetone production capacity of 10,000 tonnes, while Phenol capacity is 3,50,000 tonnes/year.
