Malaysia based Petronas Chemical has shut down its cracker unit for brief maintenance schedule. The unit was shut down in the first week of July and is likely to remain off-stream for around six weeks.
The cracker is based at Kateh in Malaysia and has the manufacturing capacity of 4,00,000 mt/year.
