Korea Petrochemical Industry CO(KPIC) is operating its cracker unit at reduced rates. Earlier the unit was restarted in the first week of September 2017. The overall naphtha production capacity of unit was increased and was operable by this year.
Unit is based at Onsan in South Korea and has the manufacturing capacity of propylene around 510,000 tonnes/year and Ethylene capacity of 8,00,000 tonnes/year
