Salalah Methanol Company (SMC) has restarted its Methanol unit after brief maintenance schedule. Earlier the unit was shut down for annual maintenance program on 1st April 2018. The unit remained off-stream for around 45 days and resume production on Friday.
Unit is based at Oman and has the manufacturing capacity of 1,30,000 mt/year.
