Kuwait’s Equate group has announced that it has taken its Ethylene unit no2 offline due to technical issue. According to company sources,that resuming operations at its unit will take around 2 weeks. the unit has a production capacity of 850,000 metric tonnes annually. The output of other units, such as for ethylene glycol and polyethylene, was also affected.
