There has been consistent rise in Benzene values in Asian market. Although there has been variation in crude values but Benzene values have been ranging high.
Benzene is used to produce a number of intermediates that are used to create polymers, solvents and detergents.
With ongoing discussion between OPEC and Russia on crude will further affect the market sentiments. FOB Korea for Benzene were assessed around USD 650/MT while CFR China prices were assessed around USD 665/MT.
